When I was starting to work on this piece, I was imagining a stormy sea that could reflect my frustration – this feeling, that you have an excessive amount of energy for a moment, get bombarded by new ideas, and your mind gets overwhelmed. The only solution to this is patience.
In the middle of the painting process, the frustration eased and the sea became more calm and peaceful.
