"Blue Veil" Art Print
◼ About the painting:
One day, last summer, I deleted all social media. I can’t call it a decision, because I thought I would redownload it after a couple of weeks - but I didn’t.
I found peace of mind I hadn’t known before. It made no sense to redownload.
For several months before that, I had taken multiple trips to various parts of Europe, enjoying the novelty and truly making the most of it. After that, I found myself craving something very different.
I wasn’t necessarily going more inward, but after that period of traveling, I found myself living a much simpler life - with a small, close circle of people, going on long walks, learning new subjects, and taking on painting with a newfound enthusiasm.
I write on my website, "The deepest joy of life comes from the appreciation of existence itself."
During this period, I was really able to experience the truth of this sentence. I took on this very painting to capture that quiet stillness, filled with an underlying sense of peace.
On a late-autumn day, warmth and chill mingle, and the trail ahead fades into deep blue mist or frost - I can’t quite tell which one.
◼ Specifics:
Each print is created on Canson Edition Etching 310, 100% cotton, museum-grade fine art paper.
All prints are hand-signed by the artist and come with a certificate of authenticity.
